What Is ABA Therapy

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach used to support individuals with autism and related developmental needs. ABA focuses on understanding how learning occurs and how behavior is influenced by the environment.

ABA therapy uses positive reinforcement and individualized strategies to help children develop meaningful skills that improve independence, communication, and quality of life. Programs are tailored to each child’s strengths, needs, and goals.

ABA therapy may support development in areas such as:

  • Communication and language

  • Social and play skills

  • Daily living and self-care

  • Emotional regulation

  • Behavior reduction that interferes with learning

At Crossroads ABA, all ABA programs are developed and supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Progress is continuously monitored through data collection and treatment plans are adjusted as needed.
